wos2bib is an online tool to convert the references of different sources. As input you can use the saved reference from Web of Science, NCBI and similar databases or bibTex and XML files. For output you can choose bibTex,XML or layouted Output (not yet working). There is also a C-based Version for command-line use (with fewer features and for Web of Science/bibTex only).

Important new features (full list see history)

• [Nov 2005] Many papers now use article numbers instead of page numbers. Therefore if in a Web of Science file an AR items appears, it will be additional redirected to the page number, since bibTex normally ignores an article number.
• [Sept 2005] wos2bib is now able to handle additional syntaxes (single value lines with a two-letter identifier). See also syntax for more details.
• [Aug 2005] The option for the name layout in bibTex allows now to add points after initials if missing.
